Truth and dare

Dare. The first word that comes up in my mind if I think about how I would describe ‘my 2016’. There were a lot of firsts for me; first time as a choreographer, first time dancing solo on stage, first time teaching yoga, first time teaching/coaching during the dancers challenge, first time really stepping up for myself in my job.. with a final ‘stepping out’ as a result. Stepping out of the world as I have known it for the last 3,5 years, stepping out of my comfort zone, stepping out of what I feel other people are expecting from me and stepping in to a totally new world. A world of yoga, travel, inspiration, silence, love, freedom and new opportunities. Realistically, with my everlasting urge to be in control and to organise, I know that the next year will definitely challenge me. Challenge me in ways I can't even begin to imagine right now. But honestly, even though I'm scared as hell, I also feel like I'm ready. Ready for this new adventure. That's my truth, so let 2017 begin!
